The app won’t start or crashes on launch.
Restart your computer, then try launching the app again. If it still fails, remove any recently added sounds or themes (if you added them just before the crash) and relaunch. If the problem continues, email us or open an issue.
Make sure the source file exists and is a valid audio file. Try renaming the file (no special characters) and re-add it. If it still fails, restart the app and try again.
Restart the app to clear any cached audio. If the file still appears on disk, try deleting the file from the app’s Sounds settings or your system file explorer and then refresh the app.
Ensure the app is focused or allowed to register global hotkeys, and that no other app is using the same hotkey. Try changing the hotkey in the button settings and re-save it, then test again.
Use the app’s Import Theme option to re-import the skin file, then choose Refresh Themes. If the theme still doesn’t show, verify the skin file is a valid JSON theme and try again.
Double-check your Twitch username, OAuth token, and Client ID you entered in the Twitch setup. Re-enter credentials if needed and click Connect. If issues persist, restart the app and then reconnect.
Confirm the mapping is saved and active, and that the mapped button label matches exactly. Use the app’s test/fake-event feature to verify mapping behavior locally.
Use the “Clear Twitch Credentials” option in the Tools/Twitch menu. This will disconnect chat and EventSub connections and clear saved data; then reconnect with fresh credentials.
Open the app About screen from the Help menu. If you need more detail, use the “Get App Version” option in the settings or send us an issue with the About details.
